Newborn babies requiring intensive medical attention are admitted into a special hospital nursery called the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Our NICU at the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation is an 8-bed, Level II - III nursery that combines advanced technology with skilled, trained healthcare professionals providing specialized, comprehensive medical care.

Our NICU team is BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP certified and skilled in the immediate and advanced resuscitation of the compromised infant at birth. Infants with complicated medical or surgical conditions and requiring Level IV care are transported off-island to tertiary care centers in the Philippines and California.
