Our Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation In-Patient Pharmacy Department's primary mission is to promote and assure the safe, legal, cost effective and clinically efficacious use of medications with a goal to provide for positive patient outcomes in the drug use process through our service, education, clinical programs and our promotion of the advancement of health and pharmaceutical care throughout the health center and community.
CHCC In-patient Pharmacy procures, prepares, manages, evaluates and dispenses all medications and pharmaceutical related services to the Health Center’s inpatient wards, ambulatory care clinics and Division of Public Health programs such as Chest Clinic, Family Planning Clinic, HIV/STD Clinic, Transitional Living Center and Community Guidance Center. Our Pharmacy department coordinates all aspects of overall patient pharmaceutical needs and provides drug information to the medical, nursing, and other ancillary staff. It also supplies all pharmaceutical products for Tinian and Rota Health Centers and Kagman Community Health Center as well as provides outpatient medication services to the Division of Corrections.
Our In-Paitent Pharmacy department’s hours of operation is from 7:00AM to 6:00PM Monday through Friday and 8:00AM to 6:00PM on weekends and Holidays. It also provides 24/7 Pharmacist Oncall coverage for all facility pharmaceutical related needs.
